Texturing a backpack in Substance Painter

Making Of / 30 April 2025

Texturing a backpack in substance painter

We’ll take a basic model, smooth it out, add some small parts like buckles or straps to make it look more complete, and then jump into Substance Painter to start texturing! 🎨🛠️

Step-by-step, here’s what we’ll do:

✔️ First, we’ll clean up and modify the base model to get it ready for texturing.

✔️ Then, we’ll use smart materials in Substance Painter — two of them are free and available on our website! 🆓

✔️ We’ll go over creating custom masks, adding realistic details like holes on the straps, and tweaking smart materials to fit the backpack’s style.

✔️ By the end, you’ll have a great-looking textured backpack ready for renders or your game! 📸🎮

Baroque Ceiling

Making Of / 25 June 2018

I've created details of a Barque Celling without using modeling ,I only used substance Painter textures . first of all i created the celling in substance then exported textures  to make details in 3dmax , this is the best solution for low poly and will save time in architectural visualizations.
